China has been a global joke for the longest time. In World War 1, China sided with the allies along with Japan the result-the allies gave Chinese territory that was under the occupation of central powers to Japan. The west has crossed numerous red lines set by China and best that China could do is use water guns to harass fishing vessels. Chinese constructed a great wall to keep their territory safe yet the Mongolia conquered the entirety of China. I guess leaving gaps in defensive walls wasn't a great idea
