Why do we keep getting these ridiculous hypothetical “If so and so attacked/nuked/insulted so and so, what would happen?” questions?

In almost every case the entire scenario is ludicrous and there is no conceivable way the leaders of actual countries would undertake such ridiculous and potentially disastrous actions.

China has major economic deals with nations all over the world, as does India. Edit: I do see that there are some ongoing border disputes between China and India, but it still seems highly unlikely that the two most populous nations in the world would resort to all-out war and destroy both of their economies over this issue.

The BrahMos missile was primarily an anti ship missile. That's why it's range is about 300 KMs and it skims through the surface.

Most of the major Chinese cities are 3000+KM from the Indian borders. Hence India cannot use BrahMos on cities as such.

Moreover, Bula Moss missile range of about 350 kilometers, can only attack China's western regions, can not attack China's big cities. But China can easily attack most India cities , including New Delhi.

So, if India really wants to invade China, then come on.
