This is the bizarre moment a man shatters a shop centre glass door after running head-first into it.

The video, recorded in China, shows the man eagerly running down through the door, unaware it is closed.

The force of the impact flings the door open and it crashes against the wall and shatters.

尴尬了，一名男子急匆匆地，一头撞上购物中心的玻璃门，没想到门是关闭的。

Witnesses claimed the eager shopper failed to notice the door because it had been 'wiped too clean'.

It's not hilarious and it's certainly not the shopper's fault either. Thankfully the glass shattered without causing him serious injury. I'm disgusted the shop centre wants compensation, they should be thanking their lucky stars he didn't get hurt, making sure doors are clearly marked and offering him a bunch of vouchers as apology and incentive to come back!

Happened to me too, only difference is it really sliced my knee up. I was literally so scared that it was my fault I tried to walk away but the blood loss was sending me into shock and people helped me until an ambulance arrived.
