Government plans 27,000km economic corridors
NEW DELHI: The government will make 44 highway stretches totalling 27,000 km to be developed as “economic corridors” for seamless movement of cargo vehicles, cut delays, deepen economic activities and create jobs. It will help in decongesting 30 top cities in the country by building ring roads and logistics hubs along these corridors.
This will be the biggest highway expansion plan since the rolling out of Golden Quadrilateral and North South East West Corridor, totalling 13,000 km during the Vajpayee regime.
This govt has a vision and put a plan around it. This is very good. I also like the hyperloop train idea. It will amazing if India becomes first country to implement that.
Great! Very Good Job.We need to finish the job quickly as it is the need of the hour.
Its only BJP that is ensuring India”s development and progress. Last major highway and infra development was by vajpayee and now modi. 10 years under sonia congress was a washout.

Looking for the completion of this project. Once it is in place India will be in different orbit.
Awesome, the first credit goes to Vajpayee as we started seeing good roads only during his ERA and now Modi is extending to complete the incomplete task. Congress had been busy in looting but never thought to improvise the infrastructure
If good infrastructure (roads, bridges, water supply and stable power supply) within a short period India will move to the list of developed countries from a poor country. The BJP govt is doing their best to do so and we have to appreciate their efforts
I have bevwr undestood WHY only BJP lead giverments have such great ideas
Good decision. At the same time many people will become rich to richer in the process of making this corridor.
hard and smart working MODIJI is ensuring the INFRASTRUCTURE development unlike past just announce project and achieve them on piece of paper and pocket all the money
Hope Modiji comes for 1 more term n he fulfill his plans.
