Chinese Motorcycle Entrepreneur Sets World Record for Riding on Water

中国摩托车创业者创下水上骑行世界纪录

Zhang Xue, founder of Chinese motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO, set a Guinness World Record on October 25 by riding a specially modified ZXMOTO MX450 40.74 kilometers across open water in central China's Hunan Province.

中国摩托车制造企业张雪机车创始人张雪，于10月25日在湖南中部开阔水域，驾驶经过特殊改装的张雪机车MX450，连续骑行40.74公里，斩获一项吉尼斯世界纪录。

10月25日，张雪机车创始人张雪在家乡湖南麻阳，驾驶改装摩托车MX450，成功刷新“改装摩托车在开阔水域行驶最远距离”吉尼斯世界纪录。

17年前，22岁的张雪在浙江武义发起摩托车“水上漂”挑战，目标距离26米，四次尝试全部失败，连人带车摔进水里，遗憾失利。10月25日的挑战成功，让张雪实现了17年前的梦想！张雪表示，今天在湖南故乡圆梦，也是想让这片土地被世界看见。

@terencemalik6415 I'm talking about the innovation..it was the Redbull's ideas,the Chinese was just copying from it and created the new world record..I think if Redbull wants to do the same thing,it would be easy just like ride a motorbike on the ground, filled up the full tank of gasoline and then just rides it on the surface of the water as long as they want

 我说的是创意本身。这个点子最早是红牛的，中国人只是照着这个思路做，然后刷新了纪录而已。我觉得红牛想做这个一点不难，就跟在陆地上骑车一样，加满一箱油，就能在水面上想骑多远骑多远。

It was a magnificent achievement using the engine he built a while back and his technical guys innovated on the “skates with fins” in several iterations n cooperated with the tyre manufacturer on the rear paddle tyre. Amazing.

Just try to slow down, or imagine what happens if you run out of gas in the middle of the water and have to switch to the reserve tank, or the engine stalls for some other reason. You can swim, but you’ve just lost a bike. XD

试想一下，要是在水中间减速、燃油耗尽，只能切备用油箱，或者发动机突然熄火会怎么样。人倒是能游，但车子就没了。哈哈。

What you can do is find a way to stop in the middle of the water so the rider can go fishing.
Then, start up once more and go home with his catch.
