美国投下反对票！联合国要更换世界地图！非洲变大，格陵兰岛缩小！墨卡托投影对比等地球投影！

当地时间9月4日，联合国大会以压倒性多数投票通过一项决议，鼓励世界各国和地区政府、学校、科技公司停止使用现行的墨卡托投影地图，原因是这种使用了400多年的投影绘图法让非洲面积在地图上严重失真、变小。该决议指出，2018年研发的“平等地球投影法”（Equal Earth projection）所绘制的地图能更准确地展现各大洲的相对面积。

The UN General Assembly has approved a resolution supporting more accurate representations of the world's continents, with 164 countries voting in favour, the United States voting against and six countries abstaining. The initiative, led by Togo and backed by African countries, promotes the Equal Earth projection as an alternative to the widely used Mercator projection.

联合国大会通过一项决议，支持更加真实地展示全球各大洲版图。本次投票有164个国家投赞成票，美国投反对票，6个国家弃权。这项提案由多哥牵头，得到众多非洲国家支持，提议推广等地球投影，用来替代目前被广泛使用的墨卡托投影。

1569年，佛兰德斯制图师杰拉德·墨卡托画出了那张闻名世界的地图。

墨卡托投影有个致命缺陷：离赤道越远，陆地面积被放得越大。结果格陵兰岛看起来跟非洲差不多大。但真实数据是：格陵兰岛的面积只有非洲的十四分之一。这次联合国投票，164国赞成，1国反对。

反对的这个国家，就是美国。

How can the US be so stupid? It hardly deserves to be most advanced de ocracy. It is a hilarious residue of a nation that fed viciously on the rest of the world and it's own indigenous people. Do not forget free labour from 10 million for more than 2 centuries. Time to analyse these aspects and hope for a more civilised leadership.
