Wu inbo, an advisor to China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs who also heads Fudan University's Center for American Studies, says Beiing is prepared for worst case scenarios in its trade war with the US. Speaking on "Bloomberg: The China Show," he says China will not beg for negotiations and can walk away from talks without reaching an agreement.

China is simply doing what the US did for their long-arm jurisdiction. If you have >0.1% of rare Earth metals bought from China in any of your product, they are reserving the right to ban you to sell it to entities deemed as threat to China's national security like Raytheon, lockmart, BAE etc. This is no different from saying if you have any American tech/patents in your machine, they reserve the right to ban you from selling it to China. What drives the Americans insane is having a taste of their own medicine. They are supposed to be ones doing the bullying, not you. It is the most blatant display of lack of self awareness and arrogance in human history.
