I am Chinese. If you study China’s modern history (1840–1945), it’s not hard to understand why any mention of war stirs such strong emotions in China.
Starting with the Opium War in 1840 initiated by Britain, China was forced to cede territory, pay indemnities, and endure countless humiliations. In 1895 came the First Sino-Japanese War, followed by the invasion by the Eight-Nation Alliance in 1900. These events inflicted immense and painful suffering on China. From 1931, Japan began its invasion of China, starting in the northeast, committing countless atrocities. In 1937, Japan launched a full-scale war of aggression against China. At that time, China’s economy, technology, and military were all extremely backward. The Japanese raped Chinese women, murdered innocent infants, and carried out the inhumane “Three Alls Policy” — burn all, kill all, loot all. In Naning, the then capital of China, they conducted a massacre that left the city virtually devoid of life. At least 300,000 civilians were slaughtered. To this day, you can hardly find a native Naninger in Naning — almost all residents are migrants from other places and all Naning natives were killed. And this is only a small part of the monstrous crimes Japan committed. They carried out massacres across China and committed horrific acts of genocide. In northeast China, Japan established Unit 731, where Chinese people were subjected to live human experiments involving biological and chemical weapons. They even killed children in front of their mothers to test "maternal love."
The reason China suffered such humiliation in the past was because of its weak military power. But today, China is strong, and it has the capability to defend itself and seek justice for past wrongs. So the root cause of this issue lies in the invasions and aggressions committed by Western powers and Japan against China.

Because hypocritical racist robbers really invade a country under the pretext of a bag of laundry detergent.
They are very good at designing public opinion topics, such as Chinese people like war.
The Chinese feel "excited" about the war because we will clearly tell this group that the descendants of slave owners, racist gangs, colonists, robbers and genocidal bandits, we will never "take the initiative" to surrender our scalps like the Indians on the North American continent.

If you are a nerd who has been humiliated for a hundred years in a school called Earth
Those bastards stole your lunch, insulted your father, put you in the storage room, smashed your computer, raped your sister and no one fking cared about you
Then you spent decades studying something called co sm. You have put in a lot of effort for this, but
You have exercised all your muscles and have tattoos on them: PLA
You bought a handgun called a nuclear weapon
You made a lot of money, even sending people into the damn universe
You have become a star on campus, even if two people who have nothing to do with you fight in Gaza, everyone will want to know about your actions
frankly speaking
At this moment, if an idiot who once bullied you walked past you, as long as you are a normal person, you would want to punch him in the face.
你练出了浑身肌肉,上面纹着“中国人民解放军”;
你买了把叫“核武器”的手枪;
你赚了很多钱,甚至把人送上了宇宙;

China has a history of 5000 years, starting from a small tribe to continuously wage war and expand its territory. At its peak, China's territory accounted for a quarter of the earth. The Mongolians conquered Europe and carried out inhumane massacres in Europe.
What's even more terrifying is that all the foreign tribes that invaded ancient China were assimilated. The Mongolians invaded China, but in the end, the Chinese nation added a Mongolian ethnic group. Among China's 56 ethnic groups, there are also white ethnic groups such as the Russian ethnic group, brown ethnic groups such as the Kazakh ethnic group, and other ethnic groups such as the Korean ethnic group. These ethnic groups were all assimilated by ancient China. It can be said that war is a factor ingrained in the bones of the Chinese people.

Only under educated people and some with ulterior motives want to gain benefits through war. Most Chinese, just like rest of the world, love peace definitely. Ignorant people seem like war, but in a short while, they will regret absolutely.
Unfortunately, the biggest and worst enemy of the people is always the ruling class,whose oppression that gives ordinary people nowhere to vent. It doesn't say anything about their own problems, but puts the current predicament on external causes, guide the anger of the people to vent outward.
Most tragicly, these actions do not cause much harm to the outside world, only cause greater chaos and mutual-kill internally.

It is because they expect to win the war.

There's only one country who is so excited about war that it has sent its troops into battle every single decade since World War II. Only one country is so excited about war that it has had troops in active combat zones in 65 of the 79 years since the end of World War II. And it's not China.

It is because of a long-standing term called, “Sabre Rattling.” One country tries to make another country scared by this concept of threating behavior. North Korea is prime example of this along with China. Another reason is that through the centuries China has had its ups and downs militarily. Finally, Japan put China through hell in the late 30’s and early 40’s. With end of WWII the Co unist Party emerged and put everyone to work. Now the China has embraced Capitalism and has enough money to pay for the military, they are simply saying, ‘Never again.’

Our people need a war to verify whether the "Dongfeng" is effective, but we have a party constitution that "cannot take the initiative to start a war and write peaceful development into the constitution and the ruling party". But the strange thing is that those countries and regions that provoke have never taken the initiative to challenge. In the latest "South China Sea incident", the PLA has deployed troops to prepare for defense, but the provocateurs fled in disgrace. The Chinese people unanimously agreed that there would be a fight, and my retired military friends around me packed their bags and prepared for the call of the motherland.
