A chilling CCTV revelation at Nagpur District Equestrian Association's Horse Riding Academy near TV Tower, Balaji Mandir, Seminary Hills, has horrified animal lovers.Between 11pm and 11.45pm on May 17, CCTV footage captured Suraj alias Chotya Sundar Khobragade, a 30-year-old employee, sexually abusing a mare and stealing four iron angles worth Rs 2,000.

The academy's owner, Pramod Sampat Ladve, 31, was alerted by security guard Rustam about the theft at 11.30pm. Unable to find Khobragade that night, Ladve checked CCTV footage on May 18 at 7am, uncovering the theft of iron angles (Rs 500 each) and the appalling act of bestiality. Ladve, who runs the academy with 17 horses (nine male, eight female), immediately reported the incident to Gittikhadan police station.

Sub-inspector Deepak Bhagwan Ingle registered a case under Section 303(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Samhita and Section 11(1)(A) of Animal Protection Act, 1960. The stolen items were recovered, but Khobragade is on the run which has triggered public anger.

Animal activist Karishma Galani, alongside former BJP MP Maneka Gandhi, who escalated the issue to the Prime Minister's Office, condemned the act. Galani highlighted a critical legal flaw: "The removal of the unnatural sex section from Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita leaves animals vulnerable, as such heinous acts face minimal punishment."

Though im shocked to learn that the hindu tolerance for dirtiness and dung traditions date extremely far back. Hinduism honestly sometimes feels like a mythology sometimes that somehow survived where other mythologies (egyptian, mesopotamian, persian, chinese, etc) collapsed as they either abandoned religion entirely or adopted a modern one.
