China is set to unveil a new drone carrier that is capable of releasing up to 100 smaller UAVs at a time. China has named this "drone mothership" the Jiu Tian or "Nine Heavens". China claims the vast swarm of drones that the Jiu Tian will release would work together to overwhelm enemy air defence. The new Chinese mega drone is also being seen as a rival to U.S. drones like the RQ-4 Global Hawk and the MQ9 Reaper Drone.
