The Indian capital New Delhi continues to suffer from toxc smog brought on by industrial pollutants, the practice of burning crop stubbles, along with colder temperatures. The worsening air pollution has sparked local school closures since November 13, 2021. Hospitals meanwhile are seeing a growing number of children being admitted for respiratory problems.

印度首都新德里继续遭受工业污染物、焚烧秸秆以及气温下降带来的有毒雾霾的困扰。自2021年11月13日以来，不断恶化的空气污染已经迫使当地学校关闭。与此同时，越来越多的儿童因呼吸问题而入院治疗。

Sad situation. Reminds me, for a few years, my hometown in China also suffered from the server air pollution. Hope it is getting better soon. GDP growth is important. But, if I look back, the sacrifice to form a mega city may not be necessary.

Delhi is the only city which have these kind of problems in India. It's bcz of location not bcz of what you do.

Proof : mumbai and chennai cities are not on just IT based like banglore . These 2 cities have large industrial sector based things and also have huge population but still you can't find these kind of problems here.
