The left-wingers decry this, even though they were demanding someone stand up to China a few short years ago. Now that we have a POTUS who is doing it, they change their tune. The Left does not support the working class. They want them as dependent slaves. All of those working class regions of the US in the Rust Belt and places like West Virginia that they once depended on for votes have rebelled and changed sides, and they are infuriated. They will never get those voters back, and they know it.

Begging for what? Cheap labor? That's all China has. They have no original innovation. They steal everything from everyone else. Natural resources? They're strip those out as fast as they can get them, and the poor workers who do it are paid a pittance with no labor laws, pension, etc, etc. China is going to implode before long, just like every other Western industrialized society did when laborers started demanding more. It's coming, just wait for it.
