India has very basic differences with China which require to be addressed before we can build up our relationship any further. First is our security concerns regarding borders and Arunachal Pradesh. China will have to reconsider its claim and be ready to resolve issue on top priority. Secondly we have become highly dependent on China for supply of essential equipment, chemicals, Pharmaceutical products and rare earth. Currently we have unsustainable trade deficit of $ 100 billion a year. This is is a dangerous dependence. Anytime China can cut our supply lines and we would be in a situation of economic crisis. Also Currently we don't produce anything which China would be ready to import from India to alleviate our export loss to USA. China would also not be ready for technology transfer to India. It seems Currently China has all cards to dominate India - It will increase its exports to India, it will sell many products like Electric Vehicles challenging Indian industry like Tata Moters and M&M. So would be the case with many more industries. In future if Anytime differences arise between the two countries, China would be in dominant position. It can make territorial claims, fuel disputes with our neighbors and also scuttle our economic growth. Our differences with USA has only resulted in Loss of exports to the extent of $ 50-60 billion but in case of China it could be catastrophic on security and commercial front. Modiji has to be very cautious. I hope he does not fall to for short term political gain. I'm very apprehensive????.

而且现在，我们没有任何产品可以出口到中国，无法弥补我们对美出口的损失；中国也不愿意向印度转让技术。看起来现在中国完全有能力主导印度：中国会增加对印度的出口，还会出售电动汽车等产品，冲击塔塔汽车、马恒达等印度本土产业，其他很多行业也会面临同样的情况。

未来只要中印之间出现任何分歧，中国都会占据主导地位——中国可以提出领土主张、煽动我们与邻国的争端，还能破坏我们的经济增长。

我们和美国的分歧，顶多导致500到600亿美元的出口损失，但要是跟中国闹僵，无论是安全还是经济层面，后果都可能是灾难性的。

莫迪总理必须非常谨慎，希望他不要为了短期政治利益而犯错。我真的很担心。
