Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away on Thursday. He was 92.

印度前总理曼莫汉·辛格于周四去世，享年92岁。

He was admitted to the emergency department of AIIMS Delhi. The cause of his hospitalization has not been disclosed yet.

他被送入德里AIIMS的急诊科，住院原因尚未公布。

Singh, who retired from the Rajya Sabha in April this year, was praised by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge for his long and distinguished parliamentary career.

His vision for India centered around not just high economic growth but also inclusive growth, aiming to uplift all sections of society. Dr. Singh was one of the finest minds India has ever produced. He will be remembered for his economic overhaul during Narasimha Rao's tenure. Modi ji too consulted him on numerous occasions. But I personally don't think politics was a sober choice for him. The ill treatment this stalwart received from Sonia and Pappu was pathetic to say the least.

Individually good person and nationalist. As a leader of the party, he did very little. Rather by kee quiet on corruption by Gandhis and Vadras he is regarded as PM who did a lot of disservice to the nation. Modi did not show him too much in bad light instead he targeted Gandhi's.
