Chang'e-5 lunar sample reveals information on space weathering

嫦娥五号月球土壤样本，揭示了太空风化的信息

A scientific research team of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences obtained information on space weathering of key components of lunar soil particles through the detection and analysis of single Chang'e-5 lunar soil particles. For billions of years, the lunar surface has been subjected to strong space weathering, like micrometeorite bombardment, solar wind and radiation from galactic cosmic rays. The effects have greatly changed the microscopic appearances, crystal structures and chemical compositions of the lunar surface.

中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所的一个科研团队，通过对嫦娥五号月球土壤颗粒的检测和分析，获得了月球土壤颗粒关键成分的太空风化信息。
