CPEC is Pakistani project, built with Chinese loan, executed by Chinese labourers. It serves as a strategic alternate access to InDian ocean for China. Sea port Gwadar has scarcity of drinking water, forget about water requirement of Industries. Goods made in China's eastern industrial hub can still be transported cheaper by sea route. CPEC is hardly of any use for export of Pakistani goods. In this scenario, which external parties will be interested to invest for expansion of CPEC ?

Development of Gwadar as an industrial zone is a good step. There is no doubt that countries like KSA, Turkey, Russsia, South Korea, Japan and few European countries would definitely be looking very closely at this opportunity. We should also invite Iran, Qatar, Kuwait and UAE.
