22.Some comments are blaming religion to be the cause of our foreign policy failure as Maldives is a Muslim dominated country, but we forget that faraway countries like Afghanistan, Jordan UAE, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and non Muslim countries like Israel, Japan USA etc are close to us, so I would rather say a diplomatic failure rather than religious point here.
