China's Haiji-2 deepwater jacket slid into the sea from a launch barge in south China, marking progress towards completing a record-breaking project that will advance the country's deep-sea oil and gas equipment development.

The installation of the 338.5-meter jacket, which began on Sunday in the Pearl River Mouth Basin sea area, is expected to be completed within approxmately three days.

中国的“海基二号”深水导管架成功从一艘下水驳船上滑入大海，创下了一个纪录，推动了中国的深海油气设备开发。
