NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said peace is the only solution for the Manipur issue and the Centre is making all efforts for the same.

"Path for solution in Manipur will be found through peace. The Centre is making all efforts for a solution and will continue to do so," PM Modi said.

He was addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on India's 77th Indepedence Day.

新德里：莫迪总理周二表示，和平是曼尼普尔邦问题的唯一解决方案，中央政府正在为此尽一切努力。

“我们要通过和平方式寻找曼尼普尔的解决之路。中央政府正在尽一切努力寻求解决方案，并将继续努力。”

这是莫迪在印度第77个独立日当天在红堡的城墙上向全国民众发表的讲话。

This was the Prime Minister's 10th consecutive Independence Day speech from the iconic monument.

Appealing for peace in strife-torn Manipur, the Prime Minister said that people across the country stand with the people of the northeast state.

这是总理连续第十次在这座标志性的纪念碑上发表独立日演讲。

总理呼吁饱受在冲突蹂躏的曼尼普尔邦的土地上实现和平，称印度全体人民都和东北邦的人民站在一起。

"The whole country stands with the people of Manipur. Peace is the only way to resolve all disputes. The Centre and the Manipur government are making every effort to ensure that peace returns to the state at the earliest," PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister began his last Independence Day speech before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls by addressing the countrymen as 'parivaarjan' (family members)

“整个印度都和曼尼普尔人民站在一起。和平是解决一切争端的唯一途径。中央政府和曼尼普尔邦政府正在尽一切努力，力争让和平早日回归。”

莫迪总理在2024年人民院选举前的最后一次独立日演讲中称印度同胞为“parivaarjan”(家人)。
