This question sounds like a joke as you seem to be out of touch! China is mainly second to USA in may aspects but in others, have surpassed the US. President Barrack Obama said that China has surpassed the US in terms of railways and also in terms of space programs( US has been putting its focus mainly on the space shuttle while China has been using the conventional rocketry system for the last few decades and have made improvements to their space vehicles over the years.

In terms of railway, China has been tremendously linked by a network of high speed rails( Nicknamed : Harmony ) since 2010 and I have travelled on them before. Prior to riding the high speed rails in China, I've taken high speed rails in Germany(ICE), Italy( Frecassario) and also the Shinkansen of Japan. I must say that in terms of performance and comfort, Harmony high speed rail is comparable to that of Japan’s Shinkansen. Finally in case you are not aware, China is also home to one of the few fastest locomotives in the world - Magentic Levitation Trains aka Maglev, which is running knn shanghai airport to city!

So does China have railways? Obviously, and not only that but China is also home to the largest network of railways and also the fastest expanding railway in the world! In case you are not aware, China is also home to some of the record breaking marvels in the world Where the list goes on and on..

One of the most important uses of railway is spreading the weight of trains, to make sure they will not sink into the earth.

However, more than 95% Chinese are masters of Taichi & kongfu, so we can use Taichi to make our trains floating over the road, therefore, railways are unnecessary in China.

During the early years, passengers had to use their Taichi super power to help elevate the trains so that drivers could focus on driving. Now since the economic in China is much better, the railways bureau now hire professional “train elevators” to do that. Trust me, their salaries are amazing high, probably higher than lawyers in the US.

No, China does not have any railways because there is not a need to build them. You know, the main means of transportation in China, as you can see in their movies, is aviation by propelling volatile sulfuric compounds (Qi, Chi, or sometimes Pi in Chinese) that is generated inside their rectum. flying training is very popular nowadays in china

Does China have trains?

No. Absolutely not.

Known as the largest develo country in the world, China doesn't have trains. What's worse, even some of our planes are not able to fly. They can just run on the ground above some special airline and they are much slower than other foreign planes, with a speed no more than 300 km per hour. Can you imagen these planes even don't have any wings?

Because our Chinese like peace and harmony we name such planes Harmony. It looks like this:

China has vast distances to reach the various parts of the country, and a very large number of people that need to get from point to point, businesses that need to ship goods inward from the ports and outward from the farms and factories to the ports.

As one of the largest and fastest growing economies in the world, it simply couldn't achieve the rate of growth it has without a world class rail transportation system.

It has freight rail, passenger rail, and high speed rail - I have personally taken the high speed rail from Beiing to i’an, and the train was fast (up to 315 km/h), smooth, and comfortable.

I can only imagine how it would be if the US had as good a passenger rail system as the Chinese.

Almost all rail operations are handled by the China Railway Corporation, which is a state-owned company created in March 2013 after parting ways with the Ministry of Railways.

China's railways are among the busiest in the world. In 2014, railways in China delivered 2.357 billion passenger trips, generating 1,160.48 billion passenger-kilometers and carried 3.813 billion tons of freight, generating 2,753 billion cargo ton-kilometers. Freight traffic turnover has increased more than fivefold over the period 1980-2013 and passenger traffic turnover has increased more than sevenfold over the same period.

Driven by need to increase freight capacity, the railway network has expanded , and has a long term plan to expand the network to 274,000 km (170,000 mi) by 2050.

Some of the most advanced fast trains are also made in China

As a Chinese lived in China for 15 years, I can confirm that there is no railway in this country.

As a country that has the most dragons per capita, there is no need to build railways. Isn’t it so much cooler and faster to ride a dragon rather than building some cold, tasteless, backward and inhumanly dreary infrastructures that are filled with modernistic doldrum and artless miseries. Dragons are proven to be the most efficient means of commute and the Chinese had long ago domesticated them. It is our national tradition, inherited memories.

I personally own two dragons and they are immortal. They are well living 20 miles above the ground in the clouds. Whenever I need to travel, I use my brain waves to summon them. I love them and they are part of my life.

So what’s the need of building railways in China? Nobody needs railway in China. Dragons are way cooler than railways.

If you are not familiar with China, then welcome to this great land.

China had not had a good reputation around the world before , due to political and economic factors. But after 1978, China is becoming the most fast develo country in the world.

Sharing an example for you. When I was in my first year in university , I had to take a 12-hour train from my hometown to city where my university was. But at end of that year, the high speed train emerged and began running from Being to Wuhan. The time spent on the way reduced by 7 hours. It just took me 5 hours to my hometown .

And then, the high speed train almost covers all big cities and second- level cities. It is like a spidery , develo to everywhere in China.

Although I described it so amazing, it is much better for people to experience this train in China. If you don't come, you never know how about the convenient transportation in China.

Not only does China have railways - by far the most extensive network of both regular and high speed trains of any country in the world - China is also building railways in other countries, to expand their reach West across towards Europe, Southwest to the Arabian sea, and South to Indochina. In the mid 20th Century the erstwhile Soviet Union build trains across Asia to “reign in” their newly acquired Republics of Kazakstan, Kirghizistan, Uzbekistan, Tadjikstan, and Turkmenistan. China is doing the same, but on a much grander scale. They are even talking about a tunnel under the Bering Strait to - you guessed it - North America. By the way, I’ve been on all those trains. Any guess as to the longest train route on earth? Hint: it’s not the Trans-Siberian.

BUAAshouldputoffexams

of course not

every Chinese can creat a cloud called indou, which can carry us around

it spend less than 1h to travel from South Pole to North Pole

And as far as I know, there is no such good thing in America

That’s a pity:(

If you mean intercity yes but they are slow The main speed is only 300Kph 175 mph The airport train in Shanghai is a bit faster It regularly hits 438kph 270 mph That Los Angeles to San Francisco in an hour and a half
