中国首个10万吨级大陆页岩油平台投产

PetroChina announced on Thursday that the nation's first 100,000-tonne continental shale oil development platform, the No. 5 platform in the Cangdong Sag basin within the Dagang Oilfield, has officially started production.

中国石油周四宣布，全国首个10万吨级大陆页岩油开发平台——大港油田沧东凹陷盆地5号平台已正式投产。

页岩油是附存在页岩基质孔隙或裂缝中的石油，属于最难开采的非常规资源之一。沧东5号平台位于河北沧州地区，共有9口页岩油井，经过3个多月试采，产能稳定在280吨左右。

近年来，中国加速推进页岩油富集理论创新和配套技术一体化攻关，攻克了断陷盆地页岩油甜点优选评价、压裂提产等关键技术难题，取得了陆相页岩油富集理论与评价技术的原创性突破。

页岩油，是指以页岩为主的页岩层系中所含的石油资源，其中包括泥页岩孔隙和裂缝中的石油，也包括泥页岩层系中的致密碳酸岩或碎屑岩邻层和夹层中的石油资源！透过裂解化学变化，可将油页岩中的油母质转换为合成原油。

Even with investment their massive population means energy consumption is going to be an ever lasting problem, especially with more people getting their own cars, greater consumption of electricity, etc.

They're very unlikely to stop consuming oil/coal or building new plants due to increased energy consumption, but the idea (hopefully) is to have a greater percentage of energy produced by renewables, natural gas or more energy efficient and cleaner power plants.
