Chinese classical music 'Nanyin' highlights traditional culture at 2023 Spring Festival Gala

中国古典音乐《南音》在2023年春节联欢晚会上突出传统文化

A program combining China's classical music Nanyin with pop music impressed audiences with its distinctive cultural connotation at the 2023 Spring Festival Gala on the Chinese New Year's Eve on Saturday.

The program, "Hundred Birds Returning to the Nest", is co-performed by singer Tan Weiwei and intangible culture Nanyin inheritors. Nanyin, known as the "living fossil" of the Chinese music history, is a kind of Chinese classical music originating from the southeastern province of Fujian. The art form was inscribed in 2009 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

周六，在2023年春节联欢晚会上，一个将中国古典音乐南音与流行音乐相结合的节目以其独特的文化内涵打动了观众。

节目《百鸟归巢》由歌手谭维维和非物质文化南音传承人共同演出。南音被称为中国音乐史上的“活化石”，是一种起源于东南部福建省的中国古典音乐。该艺术形式于2009年被联合国教科文组织列入《人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录》。

今年，闽南人熟悉的南音首次亮相央视春晚舞台。《百鸟归巢》是2023年春晚的第三个节目，融合了传统南音演奏与流行音乐元素，由歌手谭维维负责流行歌曲部分演唱，厦门市南乐团、泉州市南音传承中心、泉州师范学院及来自台湾的南音演员赖多俐等38人则负责南音部分表演
