India, France discuss Indo-Pacific, Ukraine; Jaishankar says one less border problem with China
EAM S Jaishankar meets French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, in New Delhi on Wednesday.
There's one "less" problem at the border with China, foreign minister S Jaishankar said Wednesday as he confirmed that disengagement at friction PP-15 in eastern Ladakh had been effected to the satisfaction of both countries. The minister was speaking after a meeting with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna who said France shared India's concerns in the Indo-Pacific where China continued to pose "many challenges" and where international law had been undermined.
Jaishankar’s comment is significant as it came a day before PM Narendra Modi comes face to face with President X – for the first time in 3 years - in Samarkand on the margins of the SCO summit. India wants disengagement at the remaining friction points before it resumes normal bilateral exchanges with China.
With Beiing having twice blocked this year UN designation of Pakistan based operatives of terror groups as global terrorists, Jaishankar also said any country which blocks designation of terrorists, particularly when the merits of the case are very apparent, it does so at the peril of its own ``interests and reputation’’.
A resident power in the Indo-Pacific, France has been acting increasingly as India's gateway to Europe and has encouraged the EU to play a more important geopolitical role in the region in light of Chinese expansionism.
Now Modi Sarkar admit there's border problem with China.
China will create another problem soon. Need to be careful.
Every one knows about china and no one wants to take any action other than india why ??. If it is Iran or nepal action will be taken immediately.
China never thought india could be military power with capabilities to engulf them till Doklam engagement took place where we lost our 19 soldiers .,Ever since independence they have been encroaching indian territory and the meek and weak indian political leadership could not respond till Modi came to power.
I am glad Mr. Jaishankar is speaking with the French foreign minister. The French do not take us seriously; they just got into some fracas with the Pakistanis

Jaishankar is performing extremely well and kee building good relationship with all countries
China will never respect bilateral agreement and continue with its aggression policy-so we must take proper guard.
Calling ceasefire line in Ladakh and Aksai Chin, Jaishanker has confirmed that India will never claim or recover Aksai China from China and Gilgit/Baltistan/PoK from Pakistan. India must redraw it's national map accordingly.

Winter is nigh. China is at its mightiest in Military strength that has worried even US, because an Army General warned in August that China is building up for a War. Like he did with Ukraine of late, Biden has been telling India that China is casting its evil eye on India.
Since the NDA dispensation came to power, India has developed close proxmity ties with France and Israel because its stakeholders have been victims of Islamic terrorism.

Liz Truss enters the Downing Street as PM. Hahaha
China is no friend of ours. It is just not possible for India and China to have a good relationship. India must build strong alliances with Russia, US, Japan, other Chinese neighbours including Mongolia, France, Taiwan, Vietnam and never let down its guard against China.
