British woman 'is raped by man offering beach massage' in Goa as 32-year-old former school librarian is arrested

A British woman was allegedly raped by a man offering massage services around Arambol beach in Goa, India, police reported today.

据警方称，一名英国女子被一名印度男子强奸，该男子在印度果阿的Arambol海滩附近提供按摩服务。

The woman, who remains unidentified, lodged a complaint at the Pernem police station on Monday days after the alleged incident took place on June 2.

She claimed she was raped by a man who offered her a massage as she lay beside the Sweet Water Lake, close to the popular tourist destination of Arambol beach in Goa.

Police within hours had located and arrested 32-year-old Vincent D'Souza.

Inspector Vikram Naik said D'Souza was a former librarian who was part of a criminal group illegally offering massage services to tourists in the area.

I've been plenty of times with my family and wife. Zero and I mean zero trouble just so long as you stay where you are supposed to be going. Anywhere is rough if you go off the beaten path. Goa is a lovely place and I'd sooner go there than many others.
