Are the Chinese roads better than India, and do the Chinese use concrete roads for powerful structures?

Tip: This is a minority Autonomous County in southern China.it has a population of about 180000 and an area of 2700 square kilometers. When I went there, it was still a national poverty-stricken county.

I don't know about India. Let me introduce China.

A few years ago, I participated in a traffic poverty alleviation work, in short, building roads for poor areas.The national poverty-stricken county I went to has only 180000 people. We plan to build 1000 kilometers of such roads and 79 bridges in 2 years.

For the sake of unnecessary misunderstanding, I need to explain:

The “highway” I'm talking about below, in Chinese, refers to the road connecting cities and Townships. The official term is 公路， Literal meaning is public roads.

Why are expressways important for India? What are all the advantages of building expressways in India?

The main economic benefits come from faster movement of goods and services. This allows the Indian economy to be more integrated. In turn, this allows for specialization, and becoming larger, with the benefits of scale. It also allows firms to get inputs from multiple sources.

There are also some benefits from personal travel. It’s more convenient to travel by road than by train, provided the drive is not too long. What is too long? That depends upon each person, but distances within 5–6 hours of drive time are quite doable. SO, here is it convenience.

What is the difference between highway and expressway?
The difference between a highway and an expressway in India is the access control.

Expressways have controlled access where a vehicle can enter it only through specific entry and ext points which are limited in number. This allows vehicles to move at higher speeds without having to worry about slowing down for signals or crossings.

In the case of highways, there may be multiple roads which merge with/cross the highway at many places.
