PM Modi urges Nepal PM to ensure borders aren’t misused; Deuba lauds ‘visionary leader’
Nepal PM Sher Bahadur Deuba praised PM Modi and hailed his visionary leadership on his 2 day visit to India. He said that he admires India's progress as he got his first Covid vaccine aid from Delhi. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi urged the Nepalese PM to ensure that India-Nepal open borders aren't misused. India and Nepal discussed the Kalapani border dispute. The two Prime Ministers jointly inaugurated the first cross border rail link between India and Nepal as India welcomed Nepal into the International Solar Alliance (ISA).

I belong to Uttrakhand. We have Nepali lineage either in a direct or indirect way. My forefathers were half Nepali half Indian and I believe everyone from Uttrakhand share this lineage. We still marry our girls in Nepal and vice versa.
