injiang's first desert-crossing expressway opens to traffic
Northwest China's injiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Friday opened its first desert-crossing expressway that shortens the travel time from the regional capital of Urumqi to the northernmost Altay region almost by half. The 343km-long S21 Altay-Urumqi Expressway has more than 150 kilometers passing through the Gurbantunggut Desert, the second largest desert in China.
This is a government never seen around the world that focuses solely in improving the life of its people. It's awesome!
Cutting the time of travel through the desert to Urumqi almost by half will increase the goods transport more efficient. China is the master of building infrastructure.
no they are not lol
@Dr. GreenThumb if you see any infrastructure being built anywhere in the world, that is not in japan, Korea, US and UK, Australia, there's a big probability that it is being built by China. this is just gonna become truer and truer as nations join the BRI, there are over a hundred who have joined so far.
@tuks kano Well crap, that's a lot of rebuilding we're gunna have to do when it falls over.
Heads or Tails
i will visit xnjiang, when it is possible to travel there and china itself.
One of the major goals of china must be to develope the western part of china which is still not as developed as the far more developed eastern part of china
The Land of Australia must be given back to the Aboriginals.
What about USA land ? Canada ? New Zealand ? South Africa ?
"By 2050, the US/West expects to import more than 80 percent of its petroleum from this region and much of that oil would be extracted from beneath the deserts of Afghanistan and Pakistan"
OVER 50.000 AFGHANISTAN CIVILIANS MURDERED BY WESTERN MILITARY
OVER 1 MILLION INNOCENT IRAQI CIVILIANS MURDERED BY WESTERN MILITARY
IRAQ NEVER HAD WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION BUT AMERICA/WESTERN COLONIALISM DOES HAVE WEAPONS OF GLOBAL DESTRUCTION.
Well done China.. I would love to visit injiang one day...
干得好中国. .希望有一天能去新 疆看看……
Why my India doesn't have this kinda of roads and railways , we indians are really jealous of uyghurs
This is epic!
China is king of building roads and railways
Congratulations to the people of injiang as this enables better accessibility and mobility~
Now imagine if you could also install solar powered street lights all along the highway and maybe some rest stops (not sure if there's any?). That would be great.
Looks beautiful.Congratulation CHINA.
The Chinese believe in this saying; for a country to prosper, build roads.
chinese built infrastructure regardless of the cost, the cost of not building the infrastructure is likely to cost more misery to their citizens in longterm.
well done to China keep getting stronger and stronger
China way to go !
Can't stop the unstoppable
What can't.China do, nowadays.
The US can't even repair a main bridge in a major city...
