India fears Taliban fallout in occupied Kashmir
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi set out his Taliban worries to world leaders this week, Indian forces staged raids and battled rebels in occupied Kashmir, who the premier fears could be emboldened by the Taliban's victory in Afghanistan.
Shootings of civilians and police in occupied Kashmir and raids by the security forces on rebels' hideouts have increased in the Mus m-majority region since the Taliban overran Kabul on August 15.
About 40 people have been killed in sh tings and clashes in the two months since then in the Himyan region.
Hindu and Sikh civilians have been s t dead in targeted killings, while gun battles near the ceasefire line have also left soldiers and rebels dead.
India has not openly blamed the Taliban takeover for the uptick in violence, but it has intensified patrols near Azad Kashmir and fortified some army ca ps, according to resi nts and security offi als who spoke to AFP on condition of anonymity.
Modi told a G20 summit in Rome earlier this week that international efforts were needed to make sure Afghanistan does not become a safe haven for “radicalisation and te rorm”.
He has also raised India's concerns with US Presi nt Joe Biden.
They will again blame Pakistan for that as well

The matter is simple ; India should realise that , op ession of people never succeeds; specially when the grass root populations turn ag inst you; so its only a question of time when Kashmir will be Liberated.

You will never suppress them by force.
INDIA, give Kashmir to its people to maintain peace and save lives. OR face a defeat like the U.S did in Afghanistan. It's only a matter of time for supressed fre m can explode. Modi, choose peace over high-handedness.
Someone has to confront RSS.
It’s now war of fa ths. Modi will get the taste of his own medicine
Bigot Modi - now you need world leaders to help you out so you could continue lynching Mus ms and minorities
Fair and bnced
Modi is getting a taste of his own medicine ... he has made life miserable for 8M Kashmiris and the world is silent ... wow !
The solution for India is to leave Kashmir and accept the "will" of Kashmiri people, otherwise head for the "same" fate as Afghanistan,
