The approval of Ratan Tata -- the octogenarian chairman of controlling owner Tata Trusts -- is seen as key to implementing the change, they said.

If a person from Tamilnadu or Bengal or Ker is made head, he will try his best to pull up, install their own respective language people in key posts. This is my observation in any field, organization.
TATA’S brand image is as strong as TATA STEEL , as SOFT as its software and as clean as TATA SALT.
Whatever said and done, TATA organisations are by and large society oriented ones. They are not much business minded ones. After having worked in one TATA company for a very long period, I have observed that management will never dismiss or suspend an employee however bad or worse he/she may be. Employee will not be held responsible hor his/her poor work, instead his/her boss is made responsible. That is why one feels proud to work, in general, in any TATA organisation. My hats off to ...
TATA the trust. Who ever become CEO pl be loyal to this worlds most reputed organization. We love this company their service to this nation, their contribution to this country. TATA is one of the economic pillar of this nation.
Tata the ethical company.
Whomsoever will comes to the top, will surely try to retain the brand name and its cherished values of business ethics. TATA's brands already established a household brand name in many segments, that will surely be guided by the parent body TATA TRUSTS that controls the majority of shareholding.
I worked 30 years in TATAs.
There are 2 Fundamental Rules there :
Rule No.1 : "Mr. Tata is great & is always "
Rule No.2 : " If & when Mr Tata goes wrong, Rule No.1 applies"
The Tatas are big in social service too
They are a responsible and benevolent conglomerate. But the minister Piyush Goyal had the cheek to criticize & threaten them in chambers meeting to please the oral bond donors.
Why the authors use $ instead of our own ₹. Felt like reminding that we live in India and not in US
We can expect a good man at the top, given Tata's core values
Tata group deserves to become 1 trillion $ group in the next 10 years
Tata group will have to find a successor for Ratan Tata at the earliest.
He did a mistake buying JLR & British steel....
the current chairman is doing a great job
At least TATA is creating employment and develo nations interest. Feku ruined GDP and selling national asset's to its Gujju girlfriends.
Tata has become just another useless conglomerate.. all Indian businesses are like this only
Cyrus P Mistry was perfect candidate as he was astute and foresighted . However he didn't get his priority that of Tata shareholders come above all .
TATAs image is carefully built over the years by kee the English language media, influencers and po iticians in good humour. The offi al records show yearly donation of 450 crores to BJP. Cash given must be more.
