NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday endorsed the NGT order allowing bursting of green crackers for two hours for Diwali, Chhath Puja, Gurupurab, Christmas and New Year celebrations and modified a Telangana high court order imposing complete ban on crackers.

新德里：周五，印度最高法院批准了国家绿色法庭（NGT) 的命令，允许在排灯节、太阳神节、Gurupurab、圣诞节和新年庆祝活动期间燃放环保鞭炮，时长在2小时以内，并修改了泰伦加纳邦高等法院全面禁止燃放鞭炮的法令。

The modification came on a petition by Telangana Fireworks Dealers’ Association which said the HC order created confusion even after the NGT specified categories of cities where green crackers could be burst.

特伦甘纳邦烟花经销商协会称高等法院的命令造成了混乱，于是他们向最高法院提交了请愿书，申请修改该命令。

“The cities/towns where air quality is ‘moderate’ or below (better), only green crackers be sold and the timings for use and bursting of crackers be restricted to two hours during festivals...,” the NGT had said

NGT表示：“在空气质量为‘中等’或以下(较好)的城市/乡镇，只允许出售环保鞭炮，节日期间燃放鞭炮的时间限制在两小时以内。”

Most of the pollution is not the smoke that you see but the greenhouse gases emitted throughout the year. Animal farming and non-vegetarian food is responsible for creating most greenhouse gases. Does SC know about it and doing anything?

I have coloured all my crackers including series crackers,heavy bombs, big size anaars with green colour and will show to policemen that these are green as required by rule.
