India plans to top up strategic tanks with cheap Saudi, UAE oil: Report
NEW DELHI: India plans to take advantage of low prices for oil from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to top up its strategic petroleum reserves (SPR), two sources familiar with the matter said on Monday.
Good decision. It will reduce our trade defeceit.
Very intelligent strategy by Govt of India.
Good decision, this is the good time to stockpile oil storage at cheap prices
Please use this interlude to double or triple the strategic reserve and fill them with cheap oil.
We should build more strategic tanks plus increase our installed solar electricity capacity to reach 50% of total capacity. All rural energy demands should be converted to solar
Bakwaas news, world will move away from oil. Focus on self reliance on energy than jumping high on low fuel prices. India should tap talent within to get rid of gulf.
It will be a good decision if the citizens not Ambhaani and Adaany is beneficial by reducing the retail price in coming years.
Very good. Please take such good decision at the right time. Jai Hind.
Poor Pappu! Yesterday, Pappu criticized Modi Ji that while BJP was destablizing MP go nment, oil prices crashed. Pappu was clueless that Oil prices did not crash for anything that India did or did not do. But this news is a well deserved slap on Pappu's face. While Pappu was criticizing BJP, our go nment was making use of this opportunity by planning to replenishing our oil reserves.
Any Govt will do it but wonder why Fekoosri will not give one rupaiyaa discount to aam adami on petrol price?? Jai ho!
If you ask me, such a decision is something what the well made and paid Indian administration is always expected to take. No big complements required for this. Any small time businessman too will always look to buy at a cheaper price. But before you start singing praises to Modi or anyone, please understand that just a couple of days back even though the oil price has reduced internationally, the govt is not passing all the benefit to people. They have already increased fuel tax by 40%.
STOP EXPORTING OIL TO INDIA
