The day bullet train starts, flights will offer a seat for Rs1500 :). why are we talking of fare now, be when project has not even kicked off, land is not acquired yet. let's stop the day dreaming.

flights are costing cher. just a showoff by crazy go nment. lands will be acquired and farmers will be pushed to sell at base prices. Modi had a dream and idiots are fulfilling it.

A very fair price for a High Speed Rail. it is at par or lower compared to to Euro rail , or Japan.,it will be nice to see how Hyperloop works out in India which is under construction in Pune

It is today''s estimate. In 2023 it will be Rs 10,000/and I bet the train will run empty leading to the total failure of the project.

build your roads first so people are safe, and if you want to make bullet train make it underground so there is no land trouble.

Waste of public money. Why pay more and travel for more time when flights are available for less than RS.2000 and reach in less than 1.5 hours.

Out dated concept , money should be spent on Hyperloop which is faster by atleast double and cher to run per passenger ....
Satish Kumar• DS B•Mumbai•9 days ago
Hyperloop will be even more costly as only rich people would be able to travel on that.

Bullet train is good concept but the route is not good because to Ahmedabad the airfare is very low already ....

Vijay Desikan•USA•10 days ago
Is the Rs 3000 fare based on the assumption that all 70 trains per day will go with full capacity? Becuase in reality that won''t be the case.

Bullet Trains are themselves Running at Losses, this is a Long term strategy even Loan payback is around 20-30yrs.
