First I laughed out loud when I read this question. Religion has nothing to do with cow urine. It is true that Native cow means a lot to Hindus but now ancient belief in India has now been proved by American labs that cow urine has antiseptic properties which adds value to a human life and nature.

Yes they do.
There is a shloka which describes the benefits of Cow urine:
Gavyam pavitram ca rasayanam ca pathyam ca hrdyam balam buddhi syata
Aayuh pradam rakt vikar hari tridosh hridrog vishapaham syata
Cow urine is great elixir, proper diet, pleasing to heart, giver of mental and physical strength, enhances longevity. It removes all blood disorders. It balances bile, mucous and airs and is a remover of heart diseases and effect of poison.
Having said that:
We do not drink it everyday but only on a few occasions.
Now it has been replaced with Go mutra Ark which is widely marketed
现在它已经被广泛销售的Go mutra Ark所取代了。

This is one common mistake which everyone make. The mistake is very fundamental. They inadvertently assume that Hinduism is a monolithic religion. In reality, Hinduism is a vast religion. People who identify themselves as Hindus come from a variety cultural backgrounds. When the North Indian Hindus worship Cows as gomata (go - cow, mata - mother), the South Indians, especially from Kerala, worship beef delicacies. At some places in India, people believe that cow urine has medicinal values and in most other places cow Urine is considered as a good plant manure.
To answer your question, yes, there are Hindus who drink cow urine. Below you can see the picture of a bottle of distilled gomutra which is available in market .
People also prefer to drink it fresh from the source .
Realising the potential of cow urine market in India, this business genius has even released it as a product.
The packaged gomutra you saw above is a product introduced by this person, Baba Ramdev. You can see one gomutra bottle in his hand.
And of course, there also exist Hindus who do not even like to think about drinking cow urine. Most probably, that would form the majority.
Cow urine panchgavya is great elixir, proper diet, pleasing to heart, giver of mental and physical strength, enhances longevity. It balances bile, mucous and airs. Remover of heart diseases and effect of poison.

Almost all religions have accepted because they are liberal.
I cant say anyting about Islam, because they are stubborn.
Now there are n number of animal excretes which we drink or eat knowingly or unknowingly,
About the cow urine :
it contains vitamins created by the bacteria that lives in their intestinal tract. They are unable to absorb those vitamins through their intestinal wall.Another important reason is that poop contains a fair amount of undigested protein. This is because cow urine contains a considerable amount of protein.
Cow urine offers a cure for around 70 to 80 incurable diseases like diabetes
People are doing it from centuries and you may ask why they do it?
Because veg animals who don't consume meat, used to consume herbs and other medicinal plants while grazing in forests.
Indian cow is considered as best among them because it specially consume beneficial herbs and her output has most of them undigested but processed for human digestion.
First of all my own experience -
I am Indian and both my parents were practicing Hindus. I grew up in a rural area and later lived in a midsize town in South India called Trichy and then Bangalore. Also regularly visited another city in eastern India called Kolkata all my life. Both Bangalore and Kolkata are big cities by Indian standard. I am also familiar with Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
I can assure you that in none of these places you are likely to find a bar, a pub, a restaurant or a vending machine that will serve you cow urine by the pint or cup or any other measure of your choice.
Cows are greatly respected in India, Nepal and Burma.
1.People in the Vedic period were primarily pastoral. They relied on the cows for milk and dung. Cow dung is one of the main fuels in rural India and also served as a fertilizer. Cow dung and cow urine is also thought to be an disinfectant among ancient Indians and used to clean up home. Thus, cow provided the food, fuel, disinfectant and fertilizer for the Vedic people.
lHindu scriptures have always considered milk as among the highest forms of food - Satvic. Cow's milk is believed to have a great calming effect and improves meditation.
lA product of cow's milk - ghee (clarified butter) - is used for Yajna (fire worship). Fire worship is the highest form prayer for Hindus. This adds religious significance to cow's products.
lDespite its big size, a cow is a calm animal and non-threatening - you could see cows quietly roaming Indian roads. Hindus have always appreciated the tolerance, patience and calmness of the cow. Thus, cows stood for the goodness of Hindu religion and considered a representative of Dharma. Also, a cow's affection to its calf is a beautiful thing and Vedas greatly appreciated this bonding.
lIn some ways, cows for Indians are like the pets in the Western Culture. You don't see dog meat, cat meat or even horse meat in the US as these are the animals people have in their homes and form a special bonding with. For some Westerners, killing a dog for meat can be as gruesome as killing a human for meat. In the same way, many of us Indians formed a special bonding with our cows.
2.Summary: Religious Hindu households always had a cow in their backyard until a couple of decades ago. They provided the family's daily:
lFood (milk, buttermilk, curd, butter and ghee)
lProducts for worship (ghee)
lFuel for the kitchen (cow dung)
lAntiseptic cleaning agent (cow dung and cow urine)
lClearing up extra growth in the farm before sowing.
3.Hindus are very practical people. We worship those that are incredibly useful.
Hindus drink cows urine and indeed their own urine too. I don't really know why it works but trust me it works.
My younger brother had some health problem and was regularly admitted to hospital in every 2-3 months. My mother asked him to drink his own urine and thus he started drinking (5 - 10 ml) of urine daily. Its been 3 years now and believe me he didn't even get fever after that.
我弟弟有些健康方面的问题，每2-3个月都得住院。我妈妈让他喝自己的尿，于是他开始每天喝尿(5 - 10毫升)。现在已经3年了，相信我，在那之后他甚至都没有发过烧了。
Yes u r right. Hindus regard cow urine too much. It is in their religious books that cow ( specially pregnant one) urine is sacred. In fact it is frequently used in Indian medicine. Interesting fact is that few months ago I was reading an article that Indian Prime minster ordered his ministers to sprinkle their offices with cow urine to “ clean” it from germs. Cow urine is a product in India and sold in bottles.some products also contain cow shit (gobar) to some extent
no we don't !
But there is a sacred ritual which is performed in Brahmin community where the person is given a drop of it which is believed to purify your soul. I don't know how true it is but I know that everything our ancestors did had a scientific reason behind it. I myself have been through it and I don't think, I need to research on it. I have faith in Indian culture.
I have never heard of such things. My family has never drink cow piss. But I have found some books on "Urine Therapy". The name of the book is something like "Shibambu". But all the therapy is on drinking self-urine. It does not tell that you have to drink urine like water. The urine should be processed many conditions, atmospheres, procedures etc. But I have read about drinking Cow piss
Not sure still it is practised or not. yes, people used to do it in rural india. 40-50 years back people in rural india or people from economically weaker section used to practice this. According to them cow's urine is very holy. It has some some chemicals in them which would cure you from diseases. But i have not read it in any medical literature or journal till now
A majority of Hindus do not drink cow urine.
Less than 1% of Hindus would be doing this and even washing face with cow urine as they firmly believe every part of the cow is Godly which it is if you read sacred texts.
Most of the Hindus are not aware of the powerful symbolism of the cow. For most its a sacred animal and they get on with their lives normally as would a person of any other faith.
Survival and existence is more important than worship or making drinking urine a fad or a statement.

In Hindu religion cows are very sacred and they are considered as gods. Drinking the cow's first piss of the day is considered auspicious and it is believed it will solve some health problems. And to answer ur question though it is unhygienic as u have mentioned no one fell sick till date
Yes Hindus really drink cow urine during religious ceremonies. It's not that they drink glassfuls of it; just half a teaspoon as a holy thing. I am an Hindu and in my life so far; I have tasted it half a dozen times (It tastes disgusting).
It is said that cow urine has medicinal properties…well I don't know about that. I just consumer it as part of the religious ceremony (will not do it for recreational purposes).
Just for information:
When the gut bacterial is killed by antibiotic treatment the state of the art medication is taking healthy human pooh to re-populate the gut bacteria
In hadith there is a mention of taking camel urine as a medicine
Was bovine urine any worse choice?

No. I don’t know of anyone who drinks it directly.
Cow urine is used as disinfectant because of its antiseptic properties. It is used in cleaning house.
I do not personally know of any Hindu who drinks cow urine . And all my friends are Hindus. We are ALL Hindus . Every Indian is technically a Hindu. Now now , calm down, you know that is true. However before you get your panties in a twist, here is an interesting video my A-Rab pal sent me.
We don't literally drink it. During some rituals, we add 1 or 2 drops of it to certain quantity of milk and mix it with ghee and have 3 drops of ghee on it. It is also proved to contain medicinal properties. We donot drink ..not even the quantity of quater of a tequila. Just have a few drops of above mentioned mixture
