India's economy will sustain growth of 7.5 to 8%: PM Modi
SINGAPORE: India's economy will sustain a growth of 7.5 to 8 per cent per year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said here today.
The Indian go nment has kept its economic growth forecast for the current fiscal unchanged at 7.5 per cent, buoyed by turnaround in manufacturing and pick up in investment.
"We will sustain a growth of 7.5 to 8 per cent per year," Modi said while delivering a keynote address at the Shangri-La Dialogue here.
BJP Govt fudged GDP calculation formula at beginning of 2016. Even then Chief Economic Advisor was confused about the formula. The real GDP growth rate is 2% less than whatever FEKU and his team put out in the media.

Looks like the number is fake. Job markets are down, business are down, the banks have tightened the lending, etc. I am not sure how the GDP is more than 7 %. Could be only the Ambanis, Adani''s are getting more and more rich and their business is flourishing. The BJP party has also gained a lot of money. The other business are suffering to the core. Maybe when you average it out the GDP is growing. However the Middle Class people are becoming poorer and poorer.

Our PM remains in country only if there's any campaigning needs for BJP in assembly elections or by-polls. Else he is just enjoying foreign trips on taxpayer's expense. Acche Din only for PM and his followers.
