According to the SRS 2014, 98.3% in Gujarat have mobile connections, while only 69.8% have toilets in their homes.
However, according to senior government officials, 73.98% households in the state have toilets.
April 2016 figures released by TRAI reveal that Gujarat has 6.18 crore mobile connections, against the population of 6.04 crore.
