+tiger ke Running around 200km/hr is a HUGE improvement over the current rail system, so nobody around here is complaining! I'm not sure what you would consider as "fast", but there are limits, especially when you're going through the windy injiang and Gansu deserts.

+sc5252 Technically, this railway is not even defined as "high speed railway" by the chinese according to the fact that the first letter of the train is D, representing "Dong Che", which is different from high speed railway. The real high speed railway trains in China such as ing-Hu Highspeed (from Beiing to Shanghai) are named with the first letter G for "Gao Tie", which are able to travel at 350km/h. The D trains are designed to be faster than old trains but slower than G trains.
