BEIJING: President Xi today asked scientists to help realise China's dream of becoming a global space giant as the Communist nation marked its first Space Day.
"In establishing Space Day, we are commemorating history, passing on the spirit, and galvanising popular enthusiasm for science, exploration of the unknown and innovation, particularly among young people," Xi said.
He asked space scientists and engineers to make China a space power.
"Becoming an aerospace power has always been a dream we've been striving for," The President added
Chinese space research is lagging far behind to Indian space research according to US Global report forum. But US has also cautioned India that China is constantly trying to steal Space Technology from India using it's Cyber technology and other means. Govt. of India must secure it's strategic assets from stealing by other Nations. China did exactly same by stealing War Aviation Technology from Pentagon , USA as alleged repeatedly by USA.

Space is not for regional or national glory but for international cooperation. China must not make it a matter of pride.
