India submits climate action performance report to UN body, says it cut carbon emission intensity by 12% in 5 years
NEW DELHI: Just weeks after the Paris deal, India, on Friday, submitted its first Biennial Update Report (BUR) to a UN climate body highlighting that the country is well on course to fulfil its global commitment by voluntarily cutting its carbon emission intensity (emission per unit of GDP) by about 12% between 2005 and 2010.

Great news – more improtantly considering the Auto mobile pollution has gone up . whoever takes credit does not matter ,the need of the day .I would personally loved what it was before BJP came to power and today

All types of aircrafts and all types of weapons/warheads are responsible for high pollution. UN need to take this point into consideration and do the needful action plan
