MADRID: Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy suffered a scare on Wednesday when a 17-year-old youth punched him in the face during a campaign appearance in his northwestern fiefdom of Galicia, breaking his glasses.
A source in his ruling conservative Popular Party, who refused to be named, said the 60-year-old conservative Spanish leader was walking through the city of Pontevedra on the latest stop of his push for re-election in Sunday polls when the incident happened.
The source said the teen approached and hit him, "knocking off and breaking his glasses," adding Rajoy was fine and had continued his walk through the city.
Hope pappu and Sonya may face this soon bcoz of disturbing parliament and blocking Nation progress.

Politicans who promise achhe din to become PM and then add all kinds of taxes, increase fuel prices, go on taxpayer funded useless foriegn vacations and ignore farmers should be thrashedd like this only...its an insult to slippers, if you throw a slipper at such politicians and their blind followers
That is real democracy
Fellow Indian. Please think of giving such a treatment to useless MPs.
need to know why he hit him
Some politicians deserve this sort of treatment to come down from their high pedestals!!
Can it happen in India too ?
Politics in Entire world is Indianized now. Days before, Ukrainian PM was punched & thrown off.
they should find out if it was a terrorist attack
thats really wrong way to protest,, violence will only lead to more violence...
Some Indian politicians deserves the same action.....that to a large level in order to correct them.
Democracy doesn't mean licence to punch the Prime Minister in face, even though at times people might get the urge to do so. Assaulting someone is a criminal offence in a democracy.
