RANCHI: Around 11 pilgrims were killed and over 50 injured in a stampede outside world-famous Baidyanath Dham temple in Deoghar district, 350km from here, in the early hours on Monday.
The pilgrims were waiting outside the temple for it to open. The temple opens for pilgrims at 4:30am. As soon as the temple opened pilgrims rushed towards the temple in an effort to be ahead of others in offering prayers, which led to the stampede.
why to blame admin people .. we should learn by our own to be discipline .. our people don’t want to wait in queue and always try to jump .. so this will happen … don’t blame government always …
You said it !
Agreed, you can see the same thing happen in the Delhi metro, people need to be thought from childhood about basic civic sense.
This kindda incident already had happened, so proper arrangement should be made to avoid this

Self discipline is never taught in the schools. Indians become self-disciplined when they go abroad. Even the so called educated people try to break the queue what to talk of others. I am not very optimist if the country will ever have self-disciplined people.

Such incidents are becoming too frequent. Our administrative machinery and the police need to learn to control crowds.
The need of the hour is self-discipline. Administration and police come next.
result of population explosion and indiscipline
Even an army cannot control these uneducated idiots. Sane people should just keep away from these crowds and allow these imbeciles to kill themselves
The biggest terror in India is religion. The number of deaths due to stampede in religious places, riots due to religious reasons, etc are higher than actually terror attacks or fatal disease….
Now ban temples in India. just saying… 🙂
Good Idea !! ha ha ha
People believe that the first blessing is the best blessing. Covetous nature of Indians are lured by that superstitious believe. Covetiousness killed them. Huisss.
