外文标题：Top guns and flop guns: Indian Air Force 'beats RAF 12-0 in training exercise'
LONDON: India's top guns have claimed they humiliated the cream of the RAF during a two-week exercise which offered British pilots a rare chance to go up against some of the latest Russian-designed fighter jets.
Operation Indradhanush saw the Indian Air Force (IAF) bring four of its fleet of Russian-designed SU-30MKI Flanker fighter aircraft to RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire to face off against the RAF's Typhoon FGR4 fighter.
The exercise was relished by British pilots as an opportunity to train alongside Russian-designed aircraft, amid increasing tensions in the Baltic - where the RAF has deployed fighters following the conflict in Ukraine - and more frequent interceptions of Russian bombers off the British coastline.
However, to the dismay of RAF officers, their Indian counterparts have reportedly taken the unusual step of publicly claiming to have come away from the exercise with a resounding 12-0 victory against their UK opponents.
IAF should refrain from such bravado comments, a real time battle scenario differs from combat exercises.
The last time IAF participated in Red Flag exercises, they did not understand what hit them. The launches from IAF was so poor, that they could not rush the Jets to take off in a minute.
America and other countries publicly acknowledged that Indian pilots are very hard to take on. If that and this 12-0 is supposed to boost the morale of our forces, do you have a problem?
Yes Sir...It is well known all over the world - Indians for their mental faculties and Israelis for their hardwork...
Didn't they brag we lost last time? Sometimes moral is boosted with bravado and there is nothing wrong.
I wrote it earlier. I am repeating once again ! IAF which is world's No. 3, has world's best pilots ! The training and the quality of pilots we have are even better than the US IAF. Feeling proud of IAF !
As expected. IAF pilots are one of the best in the planet. RAF is in the news because of its history. current situation of RAF is not as good as it used to be whereas IAF is improving time to time.

Exercise apart... how many real missions IAF has carried in two decades? I cant think of single.. Now same question for RAF..And I have lost the count... DONT BE FOOL AND START COMPARING EXERCISE RESULTS WITH REAL COMBAT SUCCESS
This is true, I think the comparison in the media was not right.
heard of Kargil???? LOL ....
RAF has a much better aircraft may be our IAF pilots are more skilled
