NEW DELHI: India hit a new low with their "humiliating" loss to tiny Guam in World Cup qualifying, the country's media said on Wednesday.
India, once hailed the slee giants of football by FIFA president Sepp Blatter, were outclassed by the Pacific island minnows on Tuesday night.

"In Pacific, Indian football sinks to new low", a Hindustan Times headline said, while the Indian Express went with "Speck-tackle: Tiny Guam slay India".
India's coach Stephen Constantine also criticised his players, saying they lacked "football intelligence in key moments of the game".

You can't teach football intelligence to players...thats something that comes naturally. Like it does to european and other spanish nations. India will never be able to qualify for world cup in this century atleast.

Football intelligence does not come naturally it comes from stromg grassroot football right from tender age and with proper traning , if this attitude like u remains in india , then surely india can never progress in football.足球智商并非是天生的，而是来自于强大的草根足球，外加合理的训练。

Wherever you play your football does not matter if you have talent. India have always been a poor country as far as their football is concerned. So, whoever the coach does not make much of a difference. What can the poor coach do ?? More than a coach we should have a psychologist to tell the Indian players that they can even beat Spain and Germany ! Also, the boys should be trained to play non stop for 120 minutes (not 90 minutes) and win. When these kind of ideas are planted in the mind of the players we will start wng. Gone are the days when we won the Merdeka cup and other big tournaments in Asia. Now, playing football is more of a fashion than passion ! And, mind you, the money is still there.
如果有天赋，哪里比赛都没关系。

No doubt we didn't played really well but problem also lies with our media if they give some kind of recognition to other sports then I think they can do wonder

Dude do u understand the word slee giant, then go check ur English . FIFA President mentioned India as Slee Gaint because he and other foreign clubs found tremendous potential and talent in football in india only big problem is lack of infrastructure and grass root development and professionalism. So they could be gaint if all this improve , u got it.老兄，你懂得沉睡巨人的意思吗？
