I fully agree. Better purchase a third class phone of indian make than investing a dollar on a china phone.
Another Copy Cat product

This may succeed in China. Outside China, Apple and Samsung dominate with their product.

It looks like we are more interested in criticizing rather than coming to the terms that China has come up to the World level stage. Today 15 out of 20 fast developing Mega Cities around the world are from China. Guys am definitely not a supporter of China but we should not just close our eyes in the belief that nothing would happen and we are all secure. We really need to work hard to live in this competitive world. Jai Hind

I appreciate your view friend. U R correct. Also we should not support the third class produce from china.
I would buy it for $50

$310 is too much for a chinese phone, as they dont invent new phone, they must have stolen some parts from other phone and made this one
they are good at copy paste
by hyd (View MyPage) on Aug 17, 2012 06:27 PM
must have stolen some technology from various phones, as all major phones are manufactured in china, and made a new one, hope they will give support for the phone.

even though it is copy paste of Apple, it is really amazing how such local brands are taking on heavily world’s biggest brand. India has no a single domestic brand in any electronic sector who can compete on the international level.

we have corrupt politicians, who can compete in olympics for corruption, and get 100 gold medals

A typical response from guys who havent the initiative to overcome odds and be successful. Always have some one to blame for failures.Every country has problems and its not easy to succeed. It needs ideas. perseverance and commitment. One shouldnt waver from the goal.

Agree with you. We seem to be too good in giving wrong reasons to deviate the issue. Corruption has nothing to do with technology or Olympics. Some one had hundred reasons why India did not win any gold.

Everybody knows all products coming out of Chinese factories are nothing but scrap,as far as as technical innovation and performance is concerned China can not compete with Western world not even India. seems some one has paid rediff to publish this article

We are looking at chinese electronic products as cheap and low quality products. It will be interesting to see how Indians react to this phone.

I for one am gonna get hold of an Mi 2 when it becomes available in October。The user experience is better than the iphone 4。Xiaomi（little rice）will sell at least 10 million phones within 12 months after launch。The company，setup a mere 2 years ago，is already worth billions of dollars judging by the last round of fund raising. The company‘s products are becoming a personal cult in a fast changing market。

Only China can Beat USA and other western country
by TZ (View MyPage) on Aug 17, 2012 02:34 PM
only China is the only country who can beat these western product, they are self dependent unlike other asian country, they are making good product over years, and its US policy to produce them as low quality….how many of us can afford apple iPhone? but if they are selling in half of the price then many will go and buy it.

The top company’s spending billions in R&D for developing new versions that the reason those prices are high, these Chinese will make the copy of that product and sell it cheaply.
they are hammering the market
Re: COPY PASTE
by Paresh Rege (View MyPage) on Aug 17, 2012 02:23 PM
The prices are high only because the profit margins are very high and the profit margins are very high because there is no competition. We all know what Chinese do but it will certainly make Apple products cheaper for us.

It is all a matter of currency conversion…. if not, the phone would be much more expensive than those available in the market. I hope some day soon all currencies in the world have same value in comparison to one another.
