原文标题：Which space launch systems are better? India or China
Which space programmes and Launch Rockets are superior? Long march class or GSLV? Who can reach to the moon better? And who can race to mars?
Skull and Bones（印度）
China has the edge.
China has at-least two decade lead.
India has targeted to send a human being into space by 2025.
Nobody knows if they will meet the deadline or not.
Who has more foreign customers?
Offcourse china has the edge and will always have the edge. Why are you even comparing china with a country like india. China looks up to the US. If you have to compare chinese tech , compare it with US,Russia and Japan. Do not malign china by comparing them with India.
Ok lets compare India with Bangladesh.....
We don't want to humiliate our motherland by comparing with your country. Bangladeshis look up to E.asia as model for development. We don't have 700 million people without having proper sanitation
and 50% below poverty. We also don't have the rape capital of the world. Compare your selves with zimbabwe or congo.
Oh I did not know we have such a rich nation called Bangladesh.....I am ready to compare India with congo ....if Bangladesh launch our satellite into space...we will give more loan to BD....Please
What role would india in such a space race? they can't stand there and watch!
They will follow on the footsteps of the chinese if their scientist have the capability i.e.
India talks about Mars missions.. even in PM speechs. While china rarely does. Could India reach mars before china?
we will know in time.. Indian programme is way better then Chinese programme... minus the hype and propaganda of china, space agency, ISRO is much better agency with much more accolades and potentially more innovation and ability of the being the best space agency in world in future.
we have discovered water on moon
we have done 10 launches with one rocket.
we have much more safee space programme.
we are about to go to Mars.
we have much better resolution satellites then chinese.
we have failed in heavy lift capability (which we will make up in few years)
So only thing China is ahead is in pumping dollars and faking space walks. Otherwise ISRO is much much better.
China's space mission is better they already have sent human to the space, we still need to send an astronaut to the space using our own spacecraft.
China's Space Walk Was FAKE (part 1) - YouTube
I think very first time India has edge over cost-effectiveness in comparison to China. Smaller countries look towards India for smaller satellite launches. Technologically China is ahead of us.
what technology they are ahead. heavy launch? India will have it also in few years.
More number of satellites (they have more dollars nothing to do with technology)
Space Walk maybe (but India will achieve Mars mission which is more superior TECHNOLOGICALLY then space walk)
Yes but since 1996, China hasnt built any heavy launch rocket. Their LM3b is not advanced as the gslv mk3. Any rocket enthisiasts whould know why. U cansearch up on ur own. Their new LM5 is very advanced as mk3 but can carry heavy weights.
The Long March 5 triples the payload of the GSLV MK3...
*The only countries able to produce rockets delivering higher payload than the LM5 is the United States and the former Soviet Union. Present day Russia does not have the capability.
GSlV mk3 can carry upto 15 max and chinese lm5 25. Their rocket is great. No doubt they are ahead in the game.
China has a 5-7 year edge but this is understandable. ISRO is catching fast and I am sure that in a few years there won't be much in it.
+ and 2025 for human space flight?? it will be before 2020 easily.
Has India selected the candidate of astronauts yet? What is ISRO's plan for sending man to space?
Well it all depends on the Gslv mk3. Dude the mk2 is pretty much a failure with a horrible 50% success rate. According to recent interviews and presentations that I saw all scientists have said that the designs and the testing for space module is going on. Russian help and support is rumored to be there but not sure. Crew escape systems are under fabrications, space food is being prepared and space suit is being worked on.
The mission has been approved by the planning commission and the only clearence left is the central govt which has asked Isro to first demostrate a reliable rocket and then ask for funds.
Geopolitics magazine recently reported that the selection process of astronauts has been started.
MK3 needs to hit space flawlessly otherwise its all over..
morover, the chinese budget is much bigger
one thing i like about ISRO is that they accomplish the same things as the US, Russians, etc at a fraction of the cost
Mumbai is living.. Shanghai is soulless concrete
LCA is better then your J-10 just that we dont induct until it meets the standards way above your J-10s
Also we know what Chinese claim and what is true. Chinese when they claim growth of 7%, it is actually contraction of chinese gdp right now. So no doubt the progress of everything in China is smooth. the ccp gives it smooth glossy finishing.
