We need to change our educational system and educational values from the scratch. In India “Higher the education, more the corruption” is the theme. Let us teach good values to our children, grand children, individually.

i am living in china since 4 years and believe me before coming here i was with an opinion that chinese were ahead of india say may be a couple or 5 years or so but it didnt took long time to change my opinion.mark my words friends chinese are way way ahead of india and accepting the facts india could never ever be like its neighbor given the kind of deranged society we are .

To learn, a student must have the right attitude and the desire to learn. Does India have them? We are so satisfied with ourselves, living on our glorious past. The whole world has overtaken us, but we still indulge in delusions such as India becoming a superpower by 2020 and Mumbai will be better than Shanghai by 2015. We are only fooling ourselves. After Slumdog Millioner came out, the whole world is laughing at us.

We all immediately start comparing our railways and blams all politicians, administrations and railway authorities. But one thing we all forget is do we really need this kind of rail system for the people who is the most uncivilized, ill-mannered, untidy train travellers of the world.

Go and see all compartments and stations. Is it not the public make the stations an open toilet, stick posters in every possible corner inside the train, spit anywhere, throw garbage everywhere, etc etc.

First the public should behave in a civilized manner with the existing system. Naturally the govt would get impressed and would invite foreign partners to build our rail system. But it will never happen, because although we claim our civilization is 6000 years old we indians totally zero in public behaviour and civic sense.

我们都马上开始比较我们的铁路和责备所有政客、管理部门和铁路当局。但我们都忘记了一件事——对于世界上最不文明、举止粗鲁、邋遢的火车旅客,我们是否真的需要这种铁路系统?

去看看所有的车厢和车站。不就是公众让车站变成公开的厕所、在火车的每个可能的角落张贴海报、随地吐痰、随地丢垃圾等。

We lag behind China in every aspects.
Railways is just one of them.
The reason is clear, becuase the top policy makers are lazy,corrupt,selfish and have no vision, except stealing and looting.
China is way ahead.

India has been ruled by the Congress for nearly 50 years ,there contribution is nothing.
They are greedy and selfish, the top brass is only stashing money in Swiss Banks.

Our railway facilities are not even 10% of as in china.China is 50 yrs forward then us it is mainly due to our corrupt politician as they always thinks of themselves not for the people.In China population is there strength and there govt. help there people but in our country the value of comman people is zero.If our politician are not corrupt we may be in competition with China at present we are nowhere in front of China.

Wharever we say about the govt. or others, it is first “we” who is to blame first. It is our “culture” to makre everything “dirty”. I remember a tourist in singapore who admitted that India is going to be a “big” country, but he said India is a very dirty country. It is really shameful. Unless we behave ourselves in this matter, everything is going to be dirty. However, China is way ahead of India in every aspect. India can not cope with it.

There is an urgent need to install aircraft-style toilets in all railway-coaches of Indian Railways.

The toilets should discharge into a self-contained, onboard, modular sewage-tank, istead of discharging onto the railway tracks below, which is the current practice.

Unfortunately, Indian Railways still employs people to manually clean te tracks of such discharges, within the extents of the railway station, and this is a dehumanizing practice.

the whole olympics stadium is built using iron ore exported from india, most of iron exported to china is from india, veerappan smuggled almost everything to china, recently our president met chinese president for mutual co-operation and they made a nuclear deal with pakisthan. china has built lot of railway tracks built across indian border for easy transportation for war against india.

Indian Railways first need to educate their employees to be polite and not arrogance,
Even in a small city like Mysore Railway station go and see the staff at Reservation counter , the male and female employees behaviour ie their arrogance.Its sky high
Its all due to v high salary due to 6th pay commisson.
Their work culture is so bad and report and work for only 5 to 6 hrs , the remaining time they loiter around.
Considering the above , Indian Railways catching up with china is v v remote

My dear freinds, the photograph shown is of the bullet train in workshop ready to go, not the railway station. We are very nonsence to see the rosy picture. Let me ask all of you what you have done to keep clean the train? Please stop blaming politician, babus and so on. Let us start from ourself and then see the change. As fas as chinese comparision, you all are writing freely because of democrasy in India, there are certain side effects of democrasy please take that also in consideration.

See the level of difference in the shown photograph of railway coming out of tunnel/bridge and see the current picture of Indian railway entering in to Parsik tunnel while going to Kalyan from Thane. A few years back it was clean and god out side but now covered by slum areas on both sides. Things will have to be changed drastically. The difference between Rich and poor people is widening instead of bridging out the gap. Population control is absolutely must due to which our progress is limited as resources do not increase w.r.t. increase in population. We must attend this issue and educate the people as well as change our laws also for population control.

Though I am not a communist but should appriciate the extreme dedication of national leaders of China for their respectable motherland. This kind of dedicated and honest, sincere ministers are almost not available in India. Indian political leaders prefer to induldge mafias, corruption, appeasemet of minorities in the name of secularism, creation of different cast creed and create vote bank accordingly.

It is cleary understood where is the time for Indian ministers to look after the betterment of their country, instead they remain busy to loot national funds as much as they can. So we the Indians will remain third world and our unscrupulous government will continue to claim that we are one of the power full countries of the world who can n ot even manage to provide basic needs to the public and where the cost of essential materals have been going up and up keeping general public with poor standard.

If you ride a train which runs too fast, it is no good. It is almost like an airplane. Imagine what would happen if something happens, like a smoke detector run off or a mad man with a gun? You can not stop the train, and neither can you jump off, so you risk your lives.

I prefer Indian train because though it is slower, but at least I have control of my life.

如果你乘坐跑得太快的火车,那是不好的。它几乎就像是飞机。如果发生一些事,想象下会怎么样吧,比如烟雾报警器失灵、或者一名疯狂的男子拿着枪。你无法让火车停下,也不能跳车,所以你是冒着生命危险。

Actually it is still not safe to ride an Indian train. The safer solution is riding your own legs.

BTW, Indian railways are the most dangerous one in the world even it is slow. More than 20,000 mumbaikars were killed by the system in just 5 years, and 1140 people were killed by Indian railways in 15 months in Chennai only.

实际上,乘坐印度火车仍然不安全。更安全的方法是走路。

It is not the railways but the stupidity and negligance of our great Indian citizens who use the tracks for brushing, toilet etc…

But our trains are cheapest. Does anyone have experience of trains in other countries.
COMPARE THE FARE WITH MONTHLY INCOME. I THINK EUROSTAR IS VERY EXPENSIVE.

IF SOMEONE HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION I OPENLY WELCOME.

Yes, our trains are cheapest in every sense, including quality, comfort, punctuality and cleanliness. IR is lousy and unless the whole lot of babus are sacked, it will never improve.

It may be Chinese railways are more advance in Technology or speed. Still India is one of the least expensive railways of the world.

  6. 印度的问题错综复杂,照搬中国恐怕不行。要结合印度自身制定发展模式。首先别卷入国际纠纷,埋头发展经济,可现在印度要卷入中国和美日之间的世界级的争斗,对现在的印度没什么好处.印度的社会精英也没看到这点或假装看不到这点,而只适应和没什么战略眼光的选民。那印度就不会像中国那样迅速崛起。所以,印度越这样短视,我们才越安心。因为他们的社会精英非常容易受西方国家的影响,没有独立的世界观。看不到和中国合则两利,争则两伤。
