原文标题：Popular Indian brands being copied and sold in China!
The government on Wednesday said cases where products belonging to popular Indian brands like Natraj Pencil, Boroplus antiseptic cream, Raymond, Onida etc., are being copied and sold in China have come to light.
"Some complaints involving copyright or trademark violation against Indian brands or products by the Chinese companies were received," Minister of State (MoS) for Commerce and Industry D Purandeshwari said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
The cases in question relate to counterfeiting of 'Natraj' pencil brand of Hindustan Pencils Ltd; Ahuja Radios; infringement of trademark of 'Boroplus'; infringement of 'Raymond' trademark and JKFiles and Tools on Files; violation of 'Onida' trademark; counterfeiting of Indian incense stick brands; and counterfeiting of Dabur products.
However, except for preliminary information received from Dabur, none of the Indian enterprises has provided supplementary evidence to the Embassy of India, Beijing for strengthening its case, the minister said.
Besides, no specific case of such counterfeit products being sold in the Indian market has come to the notice of the government, Purandeshwari said, adding that the onus of trademark registration and protection in China lies on the enterprises concerned.
Replying to a separate query, the Minister said the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties (DGAD) has initiated investigation concerning imports of solar cells.
The probe is regarding dumping of photo-voltaic modules in the Indian market by foreign suppliers.
These involve solar cells assembled partially or fully originating in or exported from Malaysia, China PR, Chinese Taipei and the US on November 23, 2012. However, the findings of the probe are yet to come.

Look, how anti people government is working.
India has so huge requirement of solar cells whereas Indian companies cannot even supply 10% of requirement. So,when we can get solar cells in cheap price from China, why bloody_impose ADD and make these things not affordable for poor people ?

Indian businessmen make counterfeit copies of all Hollywood films and all types of software.
Windows and MS office is available for 100 rupees.
What Indian govt is doing to stop this copyright violation?
If they can not stop this in their own country, they have no moral right to ask China to protect interest of Indian companies.

your thoughts are reflected in the name you choose....
one way its microsoft's strategy also not to curb at MAJORITY on piracy... they control the piracy through their software...
do one thing, but MS OS, install on your PC, connect it to internet and see what happens... the OS will connect to main data base and check if the SW is pirated or not.. if pirated, one piece of SW will get installed in your hard drive which will allow only basic things to do...

That is the secret of china's rise...China has been doing this for decades, not just indian products, they can reverse-enginer any in technology in the world, and later develop these technologies much better than the originals....frankly speaking they are good at it.

This is true. Chinese are doing reverse engineering of any thing including semiconductor chips, stealing source code of Operating Systems, copying the CDMA technology (they tweaked if little and now using it free of cost) - this is major worry for companies in USA.
They are willing to shift the semiconductor manufacturing plants here in India and even other manufacturing units....
only thing they want it strong support by govt.
We as indian must use this opportunity.. this will create jobs for generations....
If and only if, we get a wise and visionary leader in center and stable govt.....
They are known for it!

China copies openly // they were never original // after they invented the gunpowder, they did not invent anything.
Intellectual property violation is a government policy.
