原文标题：Pollution has bred 'cancer villages', admits China
BEIJING: Facing flak over poor pollution control measures, China for the first time has admitted the existence of "cancer villages" due to the production of certain harmful chemicals banned in developed countries.
The statement from the environment ministry came following scathing public criticism for poor pollution control measures as industrial waste, hazardous smog and other environmental and health consequences of years of rapid growth has made life miserable. "Poisonous and harmful chemical materials have brought many water and atmosphere emergencies... certain places are even seeing 'cancer villages'," said a five-year plan that was highlighted this week.
The admission came after a Chinese entrepreneur offered a pollution control authority chief a $33,000 reward to swim in a polluted river.
Make no mistake here. India is next on the list. Rivers have been polluted for years and now they are going to get worst by industrial waste.

There is saying in English which says:" As you sow So you will reap " Now time has come for China to get back from the Nature for their mindless onslaught against Nature and Mankind ( example: Tibbet )

wHY TIBET, THE WHITE HAS KILLED ALMOST ALL THE NATIVE AMERICANS, STILL THEY ARE LIVING HAPPILY IN THE US. Same example is the british, after holding india for several hundred years, they are not reaping what they sow.

Iconic British Brand such as Jaguar, Tetley Tea etc is owned by Indian Company, British Indians are in their parliment too, also if you din't know Indians are one of the largest immigrants in UK so aren't they reaping what they sowed, they came here to rule and now are slowly coming under the might of Indian immigrant power.

I know that you are a real nice guy deep inside, you are kind and simple, I think I have grown to love you. Anyhow back to the subject. Do you think it's Obama that have the says in US? Aw~~~nice to have hopes.
Sanat Attavar replies to Jmbin
Thanks. End of the day everyone has to be a good human being but that doesn't mean you don't call a spade a spade and that's what i try to do in my life. I really am not bothered if Obama has a say or not - the people in the USA have the right to free expression, they can choose for themselves what's good or bad. My ONLY point on this forum when it concerns China is - they should ALLOW THEIR CITIZENS to express themselves freely with fear or favour - the rest as the say is left to the individual - if the people of China want the present Govt. to continue to rule, so be it but THEY SHOULD WANT IT in the first place and everyone should say it and not just a few voicing it and saying this is China speaking.

Sorry, I think that there are big differences. Tibetan Chinese are not American Indians: The white committed crime of genocide against native Americans. Where as the Hans saved the Tibetans from their traditional Tibet's theocracy (serf-owning elite) that imposed a policy on the Tibetan people, they forced enormous numbers of hapless Tibetan boys into the priesthood, where they would remain celibate for life. This draconian policy resulted in an alarming decline in Tibet's population in recent centuries. Because of the Communist, Tibetan's populations are now recovering.

America has gone to great lengths to preserve the cultures of the natives that were damaged by American settlers. China is rewriting Tibet's history and culture. That is factual.

Saved them!!! Like Japanese 'saved' Nanjing!!!

There is huge difference between COMMITTED and COMMITTING. Other may have committed, China is COMMITTING. And last but not the least life is not about carnal pleasures only.

Agreed. China often cites Western crimes of the past to explain their crimes of the present. it makes no sense, you could justify anything with that. You could justify the Japanese attacks on Nanking, by saying, it's ok because the West did this or that. The Chinese don't realize their own stupid logic could be used against them.

Lol, tell me about carnal pleasure, I have no flipping idea...
