PLA published an article on Indian Navy. China’s eyes are on INS Vikrant
India in China
The PLA website prominently published an article about the upcoming launch of India’s indigenously built aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant.
“The second is to boost the implementation of India’s ‘two oceans’ strategy. At present, India’s only aircraft carrier ‘Vikramaditya’ is deployed in the western waters of India. After the INS Vikrant aircraft carrier is commissioned, it will strengthen the control of the waters east of India and promote India’s ‘Eastward Strategy’ implementation, thereby expanding India’s influence in Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific”, wrote author Hong.
The public discussion about China’s recent actions at the Line of Actual Control has gripped the public imagination. But we seldom hear about the Chinese’s views on India.
A recent survey by the Central European Institute of Asian Studies has revealed that India ranks second only to the US in terms of the countries perceived negatively in China. What is even surprising is that views on India are relatively more negative than in Japan, a country that remains a part of China’s national imagination when discussing the ‘century of humiliation’.
ins vikrant will be the most powerful carrier in asia ..
even 65000 and 90000 ton chinese super carriers wont match ins vikrant in terms of technology , fire power and experience.
If the F18 can fit on the deck of INS vikramaditya then why not purchase more F18s for both aircraft carriers and give our Mig 29ks that are still air worthy to the air force to boost their squadron numbers.
F18 sea version is designed for US carriers launches different from Indian, be curious how it performs. India shop buying from multiple countries, increases maintenance and pilot training complexty and focus on develo domestic models.
India already has a domestic alternative planned. It's called the TEDBF and it shares the same engine as the f18 super hornet.
India is so much behind in execution in every field from defence to civil department .India always waste too much time in planning .
Hahaha indian navys all old 2/3 generstion no havy all duplicate

In a nutshell : india is immortal in indian Ocean
An aggressor country will focus on numbers. Since India do not behave aggressively it has navy to defend itself.
India should improve its naval power in indian Ocean at any coast
Besides, We have much greater experience in naval warfare, including operating aircraft carrier.
It is very difficult to defeat indian Navy. because of geographical position and fire power.
China has no experience of fighting a Naval war
While India has substantial of it
India's mountain army is strong enough to crush china's whole ground army. And India has a long experience to operate Air force in high altitudes. China can't even stand a chance against India.
You didn't talked about submarines. They can be the Game Changers, for both China & India.
India is invincible in IOR. At least for next decade and there is no formidable rival for India right now.
But there is one more question. What about the Bases which China has on our western side. Like Gwadar, now Habantota, and many others in Middle East.
China is top in nevy power India need to more improve it.Jai Hind
You forgot one important point, most Chinese ships donot have the reach to Indian Ocean
The MaD Patriot
experience is also a crucial role in warfare in which china lags
