China successfully launches new Yaogan-34 02 remote sensing satellite

中国成功发射遥感三十四号02星

China successfully sent a new remote sensing satellite, Yaogan-34 02, into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 3:09 p.m. on Thursday (Beiing Time). The satellite was carried by a Long March-4C rocket and successfully entered its planned orbit.

The satellite will be used to provide information services such as the confirmation of land rights, urban planning, crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and reduction. It was the 411th launch of a Long March carrier rocket series.

北京时间周四下午3点09分，中国在酒泉卫星发射中心成功将一颗新型遥感卫星“遥感-34 02”发射升空。

该卫星由长征四号丙运载火箭运载，并成功进入预计轨道。

该卫星将用于提供诸如国土普查、城市规划、作物估产和防灾减灾等信息服务。

此次任务是长征系列运载火箭的第411次飞行。
