Disengagement in Pangong over, fresh talks today
NEW DELHI: India and China have completed troop disengagement on both sides of Pangong Tso in eastern Ladakh, setting the stage for talks on the remaining 'friction points’ at Hot Springs, Gogra and Demchok as well as the strategically-located Depsang Plains in the next corps commander-level meeting on Saturday.
The two armies verified through physical and electronic surveillance that the four-step disengagement process in the Pangong Tso-Kailash range area, which kicked off on February 10 after over nine months of an eyeball-to-eyeball confrontation, has been completed to “mutual satisfaction” by Thursday evening.
They then decided to hold the tenth round of military talks, led by 14 Corps commander Lt-General P G K Menon and South njiang Military District chief Major General, on the Chinese side of the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point from 10 am onwards on Saturday, said officials.
India, however, is kee an “adequate” number of troops “suitably poised” to react to any contingency, while having also deployed requisite ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) platforms to closely monitor the activities of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
Hope, it will be good for both the countries.
On Border - there are talks. In parliament - there are wars and in Indian media 9pm debate - there are surgical strikes and nuclear attacks HAHAHAHA
But never believe on enemy like China and Pakistan who can stab on back at any time.
So full credit to NAMO. It is simply not easy to take back all area what it was captured years ago.
Biggest outcome of the Galwan clashes & 9 month standoff that China understood now that India would not accept one sided withdrawl which UPA Govt was habitual of doing.Peace on border is more important for China than India.
This was unimaginable if pappu were in power.

Both China and Pakistan are not trustworthy and so I am of the oion that Indian troops should not come back till clear demarcation of border is done to the satisfaction of both side
Both countries showed maturity. There is nothing greater than peace . We should be careful in future against such aggressions. Hope pak will learn a lesson by seeing Indian strength.
Good news but India should not stop or reduce strict vigil as China is a snake and can not be relied at all;
If this disengagement consider victory for Indian go nment then this Indian go nment is a Fool and coward. China will salami slicing India from aksai chin in future and coward India don't have the gut to take back the land that loss 1962 war from China. Still talk and no act.
They should now realise that we are not the India of 1962 anymore!
THE DRAGONS ARE BEEING TAMED BY PM MODI
Article 370 removal proves to be a historical blunder,
Hope China comes out of its stone age mentality where might is right. So that both economic giants can prosper and help each other
Never trust China.
Given to the history, we may expect PLA to do intrusion again in 6 months !!
Never ever trust this cunning and backstabbing dragon PLA. Never vacate critical positions
It is good that after so many round of talks, the first exercise of disengagement has been done.

Modi made the China to blink first, thus made it to run away & has been taught a great lesson to them
